Malcolm Gray is a retired musician, but insists on keeping the the music alive
by passing it down to the next generation.
Malcolm is a Memphis native who began dabbling with his guitar at age 10. He
told me that it didn’t just come natural to him but he went in his room, closed his
door and prayed for 30 minutes. God answered his prayers and now he has 50
years of playing and writing music.
For 20 years he spent time as a recording musician, that included sessions with
Charly McClain, #1 record “Who’s Cheatin’ Who”. Mel McDanials and The
Bar-Kays, and many other great musicians.
Malcolm has several successful students that he has taught. His very first student
now has his own recording studio!
If your looking for someone to teach you how to play the guitar, Malcolm has
all the knowledge and experience that you will need.

General Liability: Can you afford not to carry it?!
Scenario:
You own a restaurant which also serves alcohol and has been
open for a few years. One day one of your customers (we will
give them a name of Sally) decides to leave they fall down the
steps to get outside. You go outside to check to make sure they
are alright as you witnessed the fall. Sally says to you no I am
not alright and you will be hearing from my attorney.
One good thing for you is that you have several posters up
stating please watch your step, so you think to yourself there
is nothing they can do to me. A few days later you hear from
Sally’s attorney whom states that they are suing you for hospital
bills as well as some other things.
As soon as you hear this you think to yourself wait I think that
my liability insurance will cover any lawsuits that occurs to my
business. So you call your insurance agent whom looks up your
file and then states, I am sorry to tell you this but back when you
signed your policy you stated to me that you did not want Liability
insurance as you do not foresee any lawsuits happening
to you. You told me that all you wanted is what was required
Property for your mortgage and Liquor Liability so you could
keep your license.
Because you decided not to take Liability insurance you will be
responsible for all of your own attorney fees which will more
than likely be in the thousands. Yes you may win the lawsuit due
to some of the circumstances which led to the fall but the same
problem lies that you have to cover the costs of going to court.
If we flip the scenario and say that you did purchase the liability
insurance your insurance company would pay for your costs of
going to court. Also there really shouldn’t be any out of pocket
expenses for you the business owner.
I have actually had one of my clients that thankfully had purchased
Liability insurance and this happened to them. Can you
afford not to carry Liability insurance? I would say more than
likely NO, this coverage does not just apply to this scenario. In
all fields of business there are lawsuits every day and the main
reason for this is that people now days are sue happy. Liability
insurance is relatively inexpensive especially when it comes to
the claims and or lawsuits that can arise out of these situations.
So protect yourself and make sure that you are properly covered
when it comes to Insurance contact your insurance agent and
look over your policy. One lawsuit could cost you your whole
livelihood.

Can I talk to you?
I just wanted to tell you some things that you can do to help me
be the best I can be.
Believe in me. Believe I can reach my goals. Help me to reach
my goals.
Encourage me. Listen to me when I’m talking. Really listen.
Be proud of me, even if I don’t get all the questions on the test
right.
Teach me to make good choices and good decisions. It’s very
important.
If I get into trouble, let me face the consequences.
Sometimes, tell me when I’ve done something right, instead of
only telling me what I’ve done wrong.
Let me play in the dirt and ride my bike through the mud puddles.
Staying clean isn’t always the most important thing.
Let’s spend some time playing a game or putting a puzzle together.
Let me be me.
Take me somewhere every once in a while, by myself, without
the others. Make me feel important.
I need you to lead me, teach me right from wrong.
If you get mad at me, please don’t forget to tell me that you
forgive me.
If there’s a problem, let’s talk about it. We can work it out
together.
Sometime, can we just sit and talk? Can you tell me about when
you were a child? Not how far you had to walk to school and
how hard things were, but how you felt about things, what you
did, and what helped you become who you are today.
Make me an important member of this family. Most important,
let me know your love for me is unconditional.
Be proud of me so I can be proud of me, too!!!
I LOVE YOU MOM AND DAD

I will check all tires.
I will check all tires.
I will check all tires.
I have to write this 100 times. That’s
what they do in school when they want a child to really
get something, and I’m hoping that it will work for me.
I drive a lot of miles every month. And, I had
been keeping a ‘sort of’ watchful eye on my front driver’s
side tire. So, when I started to ‘feel’ something, I finally
made myself stop in and get it replaced.
As soon as I left, there was still a wrong ‘feeling’
to it. So, I went back to the shop and they balanced it
again. I left, and it seemed a bit better, but still different.
So, I drove another 2,000 miles. That takes about 3 weeks
for me. And, it seemed like it was getting worse, but I
looked at it and there was no sign of any problem.
Well, last Thursday, it was obvious that I was going
to have to get the shop to recheck it. But, me and my
hating to stop drove me to go just a bit too far.
Yeppers, had a blow out! On the front PASSENGER’S
tire! It never occurred to me to check other tires
since I thought the problem was the front drivers……..so;
I will check all tires.
I will check all tires.
(And, for you and your family’s safety, check all of yours!)
